"To arrive at the Domaine du Chambet is to plunge into a hive of youth and passion. After a short training course at the Changins School of Engineering, Anthony Fonjallaz is now at the helm of the estate's ten hectares of vines. With its organic grapes, minimal or no sulfiting and indigenous yeasts, Chambet is clearly a modern, natural wine.
Tribune de Genève
Dull, blood-orange color with gray tones.
The nose is powerful and expressive, with notes of very fresh fruits such as white peach, orange and exotic hints of passion fruit. There's also a regressive hint of nougat, cookie and toast.
The palate is invigorating, balanced by just the right amount of richness - perfect balance! Frank aromas of bitter orange zest, dried rose and verbena. A slightly astringent edge is apparent, adding a dimension of rare complexity.
The finish is saline, with hints of lychee and fruit brandy.
